Our History

Lozier Oil was founded in 1962 when Marvin Lozier bought the former Bridgestock Oil from Walter Bridgestock in Farmington. Marvin became a Mobil Oil consignee, and started the business with a single fuel truck, a small warehouse building with several bulk fuel tanks and a base of customers. Marvins first customers were farmers and gas stations. Mobil changed the consignee program to distributorships and Lozier Oil Company was born. Gas, heating oils, diesel fuels and automotive oils were sold and his business grew to include area manufacturers and businesses throughout the Central Illinois area.

Our Facility

Lozier Oil Company is a full service distributor, with bulk storage facilities for over 200,000 gallons of bulk lubricants and fuels. In addition to warehouse storage for drum and package goods, we also have a dedicated repackaging facility.  We repackage bulk oil in 5-gallon pails and 55-gallon drums to order and also prepare portable bulk tanks ("totes") for delivery to our customers.

Fuel

Lozier Oil has a variety of fuels including: diesel, unleaded, bio-fuels, and in addition others. We have established routes and can easily adapt to suit your fuel needs. Alongside our fuel business, we are also able to implement storage capabilities for your facility. We carry a full line of petroleum equipment and will work with you to determine a solution that suits your needs.

Delivery and Warehouse

Our Delivery and Warehouse team is vital to the operations of Lozier Oil Company. We emphasize a dedication to customer service and are dedicated to serving our customers promptly and accurately. When you see a Lozier Oil truck driving down the road, youll likely see one of these great individuals behind the wheel. Our repackaging and warehouse staff is second to none, and working together with the delivery staff are able to give our customers the products they need, when they need it.

Fluid Management Services

Our fluid management program began in 2007 at a single Caterpillar plant has expanded to over 30 employees servicing five different locations. Our mission is to reduce overall factory downtime and the various costs associated with manufacturing by taking a pro-active approach to managing both equipment and lubricants. We will work with you to implement a program that is right for you in order to help you more efficiently produce parts at a lower cost.
