Logotronic was founded in 1982 and is thus facing already a longterm experience on the field of environmental measuring technology. 
Beside our head office in Vienna exists a substantial network of international partner companies. This network of international partner companies enables us to offer our products and services worldwide.

The basic task of Logotronic is to be a so called "system integrator". Our product is a measurement system, which fulfills the technical requirements of our customer at its best while also considering the budgetary possibilities. The comprehensive technical know how of our staff is the foundation of any work of Logotronic.

 From the very beginning it was always our concern to continously improve the quality of our products and of our internal processes and to document them accordingly.

• The R&D department from Logotronic develops  the key components of the production program (data logger, components for the data transfer, PC-software). Therefore the total know how of the developer is always available.
• Logotronic is using in-house production, specially aligned for production of small and medium quantities. Production starts at the level of electronic assemblies up to production of complete measurement stations and networks.
• Additionally third-party components, mainly sensors, are purchased from companies with whom we have a longterm partnership.  Thanks to Logotronic´s independency we can choose for all projects the best combination of sensors for the specific application
• In some strategic areas we have extended our partnership with the producers to a formal representation. A list of the represented companies is included in this Web-page.

Beside this technical know-how we offer widespread experience in project planning, engineering and project management. As you can see in the chapter "Applications" we have participated in leading roles in many big international and national projects.

Increasing importance gains the sector "Services". I want to mention that Logotronic offers to take over the complete maintenance works for complete measuring networks in the framework of a maintenance contract. Due to synergy effects the maintenance costs should be decreased significantly.

Registration

Certain informations are only available for the users of Logotronic products. These informations are summarised in the chapter "Technical Support". In order to access these informations a registration has to be done. The registration will be passed-on to the Logotronic sales team. This will send by return the required access data via email.

Classes of documents

For description of our products the following types of documents are used. These documents are accessible through the download area of the according product page. All documents are available as pdf-files.

1. Product Certificate
   A "Product Certificate" contains an exact technical description of the appropriate product. The described specifications are guaranteed by Logotronic. Normally the product certificate also contains all informations that are necessary to know when using the product (functional specifications, pin configuration, etc.). Therefore the product certificate can normally be used as an operation manual for the accordingly product.
2. Technical Note
   A "Technical Note" describes product features that are exeeding the common amount of description given in a product certificate respectively that are concerning more than one product i.g. the technical note "Gealog Products and GSM/GPRS Communication" describes the procedure necessary in order to set-up a GSM/GPRS data-communication. Thus this description is related to many different Logotronic products.
3. Application Note
   An "Application Note" describes the usage of Logotronic products within special projects (reference projects) or within special applications.
4. User Manual
   Technical description respectively user manual for complex products (i.g. PC-software "Gealog for Windows") in addition to the product certificate.

The images at the product pages on the lowest menu-levels can be zoomed to fullscreen format by a dubbleclick onto the image. On the upper pages a dubbleclick onto the image leads to the specific product page.

Software downloads

Within the chapter "Technical Support" it is possible to download last updated versions of our software products as well as firmware updates.

The existing search function carries out a full text search within the texts of the homepage, however not within the product certificates and all other linked documents. The full text search can be refined by the following commands:

• 'apple banana' 
  Find rows that contain at least one of the two words.

  Find rows that contain both words.
• '+apple macintosh' 
  Find rows that contain the word "apple", but rank rows higher if they also contain "macintosh".
• '+apple -macintosh' 
  Find rows that contain the word "apple" but not "macintosh".
• '+apple ~macintosh' 
  Find rows that contain the word "apple", but if the row also contains the word "macintosh", 
  rate it lower than if row does not. This is "softer" than a search for '+apple -macintosh', 
  for which the presence of "macintosh" causes the row not to be returned at all.
• '+apple +(>turnover Find rows that contain the words "apple" and "turnover", or "apple" and "strudel" (in any order), 
  but rank "apple turnover" higher than "apple strudel".
• 'apple*' 
  Find rows that contain words such as "apple", "apples", "applesauce", or "applet".
• '"some words"' 
  Find rows that contain the exact phrase "some words" (for example, rows that contain 
  "some words of wisdom" but not "some noise words"). Note that the ‘"' characters that 
  enclose the phrase are operator characters that delimit the phrase. They are not the 
  quotes that enclose the search string itself.
