Lenawee Fuels was founded in 1958 by Don Purky and a partner. In 1965, Don bought out his partner and incorporated the family business. Dons vision was to provide traditional service and the highest quality fuels to Michigans agricultural businesses and heating oil customers.  In 1998, Bruce Litchford and Ken Heers joined Lenawee Fuels. When Don passed away in 2006, the partners took control of the business. Since its founding over 55 years ago, Lenawee Fuels has grown and expanded many times over.
