LEAM Drilling Services was formed in New Iberia, Louisiana in 1980 with the goal of lowering its customers well cost by providing the best people, service and equipment available. Since 1980 the technology has evolved but our mission remains the same. LEAM currently offers best-in-class mud motors, state-of-the-art MWD equipment and a remote operations center that monitors every well being drilled across the country. Since starting we have stayed true to our core beliefs and we believe in simply having the best people, equipment and service in the industry. Our top management team boasts well over 100 years of directional drilling experience. We aggressively invest in R&D and our proprietary equipment leads the industry in performance and reliability. And while we have grown to be one the premiere directional companies in the United states, we have not forgotten our roots and still provide the same individualized service on every well that we did when we started. Having grown to be one of the largest independent directional companies, LEAM operates in all of the major basins in the continental United States. We have service facilities, shops and sales offices distributed across the country and can support our customers needs no matter where they are located. We are proud to provide the level of service that we did when we started along with the scale and sophistication of the major directional company that we are today.
LEAM Motors
LEAM motors are designed for reliability and durability to conquer the toughest hole conditions. We are constantly innovating and improving our motors to ensure customer wells reach total depth effectively and efficiently. We strive to bring the highest quality component manufacturing and assembly. Our motor facilities are strategically located in Houston, Midland, Oklahoma, North Dakota and West Virginia which allows for quick onsite delivery regardless of location.
Drivelines
One of the leading causes of motor failures is driveline fatigue. LEAMs drivelines feature robust pivot connections that greatly reduce the risk of driveline fatigue when compared to traditional bearing style joints. Our advanced engineering allows for maximum durability without sacrificing power.
LEAM MWD
At LEAM we pride ourselves in offering the latest in MWD technology and reliability. Our technology group employs some of the best minds in the business that help us stay ahead of the curve in an ever evolving industry. LEAM holds multiple patents for new MWD technology and our team is currently working on adding several more to this list.
Our Team
LEAM employs a full team of in-house well planners who are committed to ensuring our customers well planning efforts are accurately and successfully met on every project. Our well planning team maintains close contact with every customer before, during and after the well is drilled.
Services
LEAMs well planning department provides more than just well planning. Anti-collision reports and survey management can be done in real time. After a well is completed, our well planning team takes care of filing all the necessary documents and files to regulatory divisions. Lastly, the team prepares an end-of-well package that is delivered to the customer.
