Lazer Energy Company., Inc. is a family owned and operated business, which has been up and running for over thirty years, and we continue to grow. Our business started as a small gas station. Since 1980; weve expanded to a full-service fuel distributing petroleum sales company. For over 35 years, we have done our best to provide all of our customers with exceptional service and not one of our customers ran out of fuel during Hurricane Ike. Diesel

DIESEL All diesel fuel sold by Lazer Energy for off-road use or on-road use is ultra low sulhur. Ultra low sulphur diesel contains less than 15 ppm (parts per million) of sulphur. We sell ultra low sulphur diesel fuel for on-road use for passenger cars, heavy-duty pickups and commercial trucks.  We also sell dyed ultra low sulfur diesel fuel for off-road applications such as construction, farm, rail and generators. Dyed ultra low sulfur diesel is used in off-road and it is also refer as red diesel or off road diesel.  Ultra low sulphur diesel has a reduced sulfur content by 97 percent. The low sulphur content is important because sulfur tends to hamper exhaust-control devices in diesel engines, like lead once impeded the catalytic converters on gasoline cars. Just as taking the lead out of gasoline in the 1970s enabled a new generation of emissions control technologies that have made gasoline vehicles over 95 percent cleaner, lowering the content from diesel helps clean the emmisions and a cleaner technology.

DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID

Diesel Exhaust Fluid or DEF is an emissions control liquid required by newer diesel engines. It is injected straight into the exhaust stream and never added to the diesel fuel itself. It is a non-hazardous solution of 32.5% urea in 67.5% de-ionized water. DEF is clear and colorless, and looks exactly like water with a slight odor like ammonia. DEF is used in by Selective Catalytic Reduction or SCR technology to remove harmful emissions from diesel engines. DEF is sprayed into the exhaust, breaking down NOx gases into nitrogen and water using an advanced catalyst system.
