  The Kitnuna Corporation head office is located in Cambridge Bay. The main function of Kitnuna Corporation is administration and management of the wholly owned subsidiary companies and the various Joint Ventures in which the company is involved. The Kitnuna Group of Companies is a proudly 100% Inuit owned group located in Cambridge Bay, Nunavut.The Kitnuna Group of Companies is comprised of four core companies as well as several joint ventures, ranging in scope from: 

• fuel supply,
• project management,
• general contracting,
• environmental remediation,
• as well as the supply of pharmaceuticals and other necessities to local communities.

The Kitnuna Group of Companies prides itself on providing essential services to communities throughout the Kitikmeot region as well as completing large projects for the Government of Nunavut and other private entities.

Kitnuna Petroleum 

Kitnuna Petroleum Ltd. has proudly served the community of Cambridge Bay since the 1960’s. By providing fuel to the residents of Cambridge Bay; KPL ensures that some of the hardship of living in remote, Northern communities is lessened. KPL also supplies fuel to the commercial airlines which provide regular service to Cambridge Bay and other isolated communities; as well as insuring dedicated medical transport planes are always fueled and can leave at a moment’s notice. 

Kitnuna Expediting Services

   Kitnuna Expediting Services Ltd. operates a 10,000 square foot retail building supply outlet in Cambridge Bay that sells everything from lumber and tools to Parkas and stationary. KES also purchases goods for and supplies remote camps across the Kitikmeot region. Supplies for the community of Cambridge Bay must be coordinated on an annual barge or by aircraft; the logistics of this operation is controlled by KES and distributed to the community through the retail outlet.
