Our portfolio includes over 13 million gross acres in 28 states and in every major onshore basin in the continental United States, including ownership in more than 96,000 gross wells with over 40,000 wells in the Permian Basin. We became a publicly-traded company in February 2017, trading on the NYSE under the ticker symbol KRP.
We converted to a C-Corp for federal income tax purposes in September 2018. Thus, investors in our common units will receive a 1099-DIV rather than a K-1.
