The Founder 

Chris Strickler is the President and founder of JC Petroleum, Inc. Mr. Stricklers career began as an independent landman working in many regions of the United States, including: The Mid Atlantic, Midwest, East Coast and Gulf Coast regions.  After several years as an independent landman, Mr. Strickler worked for Glenda Petroleum Corporation, as its Land Manager. Mr. Strickler then took a position with GEDCO, as its manager of the entire operation.  Mr. Strickler left his position with GEDCO to once again become an independent landman. In 1990 Mr. Strickler, as an independent landman, obtained his Certified Professional Landman (CPL) designation, and has continued to maintain his designation.  After many years as a successful and independent landman working for the smallest of independents to the major E&P companies, Mr. Strickler founded JC Petroleum in 1996.  With a career of over 30 continuous and uninterrupted years of work as a landman and now founder of JC Petroleum, Mr. Strickler brings energy, experience, knowledge, expertise and ability to his clients.  Mr. Strickler takes pride in his ability to take on those projects or negotiations that require his experience and skill to negotiate successfully for the client that makes sense. Mr. Strickler works closely with his staff of experienced landmen, abstractors and support team to ensure clients projects are timely handled with the highest degree of professionalism, with attention to detail to be effective as possible.  JCP prides itself on having worked those “difficult” projects that require a great attention leadership, knowledge and detail to be successful for its client/s in delivering a complete and accurate product.

The Company

Currently associated with JCP, are landmen, abstractors and support personnel .
