JB Dewar, Inc. is a fuel and lubricant distributor located on the Central Coast of California. The company was started in 1933 in Santa Maria, CA by John B. Dewar, an oil field worker. Today JB Dewar is on its third generation of family ownership and fourth generation of Dewar family members involved in the business. Fuel Tanks to Rent or Purchase

The Dewar Depot is stocked with various sizes of fuel storage tanks, and we can order any tank you may need. We sell single and double wall lube oil tanks, waste oil tanks, stationary gasoline and diesel tanks, as well as portable diesel transfer tanks for pickups and trailers. We can also supply secondary containment for tanks and drums.

OIL ANALYSIS   

JB Dewar offers an oil analysis, which is performed through the Chevron LubeWatch program. Tests specifically analyze things such as viscosity, breakdown, contamination, wear metals, coolants, and more. There are different kits for gasoline engine oils, diesel engine oils, natural gas engine oils, and industrial oils.     Oil examinations are important to identify contamination or wear before it becomes costly. Analyzing samples on a regular basis will help you optimize your equipment efficiency, identify lubricant-related needs and increase the life of your equipment. JB Dewar will help you collect samples to be sent to ALS Tribology for testing. Once the results are ready they will be emailed to you as well as JB Dewar so we can further assist you if needed.

TECHNICAL SERVICES

   JB Dewar is committed to providing not just quality, but service and support. For this reason we offer extensive technical assistance. In person or on the phone, we’re here to answer all of your fuel, storage, and dispensing related concerns. We can perform equipment installations for smaller scale jobs, equipment repairs, equipment and exchange upgrades, and fuel and lube transfers. DIESEL EXHAUST FLUID

Air 1 Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF), is a high-purity solution of urea in deionized water. It is used to chemically reduce NOX emissions from trucks and buses powered by diesel engines. DEF is very susceptible to contamination making the handling process extremely important. Just one-tenth of one teaspoon of impurities can render a 6,500-gallon tank of DEF useless! Luckily, Air 1 and JB Dewar utilize a closed-distribution system, ensuring a contamination-free distribution of the product. Every JB Dewar employee is trained on how to keep DEF pure. We will make sure that when you purchase DEF, you have the right advice and instruction on all of the equipment and storage practices. We also have DEF Pumps and Dispensing Equipment available.
