JAT Energy was founded as JAT Oil in 1976 by John A. Thompson. Mr. Thompson, a retired Chevron Oil executive, owned the company until 1986, at which time the present management took over under the direction of the companys new owner Pat Conroy.  During this 40 year period, JAT has developed into a supplier of a full line of energy products that are shipped by pipeline (fuel and natural gas), rail, and by ground.

Fixed-Forward Pricing 

We offer fixed-forward pricing for qualifying customers and volume requirements, which means that we will provide a stable, fixed price per gallon for a contracted period of time.

NATURAL GAS

Industrial consumers of natural gas have traditionally purchased natural gas from their local distributor or from a couple of suppliers that ship natural gas on the interstate pipelines.  With the shifting of natural gas production from the Gulf of Mexico to Shale production areas in Appalachia, JAT Energy has been able to establish relationships with producers allowing JAT to buy and deliver natural gas to the market at low prices.  JAT accomplishes this by negotiating directly with producers and passing on savings to the customers.  Most Industrial Customers have relied on their utility to purchase their natural gas, but by purchasing direct from JAT, customers can reduce pipeline transportation cost and work with a local company.

ASPHALT

JAT Energy entered the liquid asphalt market after a contractor wished he could get the same superior service for his asphalt deliveries as he was receiving from JAT on his fuel deliveries.  Nearly ten years later, JAT has grown from one trailer into a fleet of over 6 aluminum insulated asphalt tankers. JAT now serves all aspects for the liquid asphalt market, by not only hauling liquid asphalt but also selling liquid asphalt.  With our network of suppliers and refiners, JAT Energy has been able to make its mark in the region. JAT also is able to market liquid asphalt via rail.  Being a local supplier with a hand on approach our service and expertise has proven to be invaluable to our customers as compared to the “Big Oil” companies. 

COMMERCIAL

Not only do we provide fuel for commercial accounts, we are happy to supply other fuel distributors looking for additional supply. We have many mutually beneficial relationships with other fuel distributors that we deliver to or broker to.  With JAT Energy, you never have to worry about having the fuel that you need to operate.
