Jacknife Oilfield Services is an independent Aboriginal company that provides fluid hauling services and mechanical repair to Alberta’s oil industry.

We have an established fleet of tanker trucks that are dispatched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. With over 60 tri-axle tractor trucks and tanker trailers available for deployment, we are an established firm with vast experience in transporting crude oil and produced water. Jacknife Oilfield Services is well-known in the industry for providing safe, responsible and high quality services. We recognize safety as the cornerstone of our duties and focus on compliance with government and client requirements.  We offer our services at competitive rates treating our customers, employees, and communities with the integrity and respect they deserve. Jacknife Oilfield Services has also expanded their business operations to include mechanical repair and land reclamation.

20 YEARS IN SERVICE

More than 20 years ago, Mike Jacknife realized the opportunity to provide fluid hauling services to contracting oil companies.  Leaving the timber industry, Mike and his brother started a one truck operation and  began fluid hauling in the Elizabeth Metis Settlement area where Mike was born and raised.  This early experience has been key in helping Mike expand his business as he has firsthand hauling experience and therefore has been able to better understand the needs of his clients and employees.   Building the business from the ground up,  Jacknife Oilfield is now  an  established firm with plenty of experience in transporting crude oil and produced water.  Mike is still deeply involved in the day to day operations and supervises the delivery of each contract.  He values building strong relationships with his employees, contractors and clients and works to create a positive team atmosphere.   He is well recognized in the industry and Jacknife Oilfield is a key player providing quality, timely fluid hauling services to major contractors throughout North Eastern Alberta for the past 20 years.

Services

• Jacknife Oilfield has many years of experience hauling a variety of products and offers a range of services. We provide qualified and experienced drivers to transport crude oil or produced water from well site to pipeline batteries or water disposal sites. We have an established fleet of tanker trucks that can be dispatched 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
• Our shop is open 5 days a week, Monday – Friday. We also have a service truck, ready to perform work in the field. Our mechanics are qualified and experienced ensuring our work is of the highest standard.
• We have the equipment and manpower to handle most small to medium sized reclamation projects. Our qualified staff ensures the job is done right the first time.
