Island Petroleum was launched in 1982 as a company that could provide quality products and unmatched customer service. More than 30 years later, Island Petroleum proudly continues to strengthen its reputation for supplying great products, delivered by great people.In 2010, Island Petroleum was purchased by Parkland Fuel Corporation, Canadas largest national independent operator of retail and commercial/industrial fuels. Parkland is known for connecting refiners to communities, and communities to the petroleum products they need to heat their homes, fuel their industries and drive their economies forward.Since becoming a division of Parkland, Island Petroleum has better access to supply and distribution, larger delivery fleets, and a greater number of service-driven resources.
