TRADITIONAL FINANCING AND SOLAR GARDENS

Whether you use iDEAL’s Financed Purchase or Capital Lease Options, purchasing your array through iDEAL using our financing programs provides the greatest return on your solar array by producing 100% free energy after a short period of time. In contrast, utilizing Solar Gardens and Traditional Financing (rooftop lease with power purchase) provide a marginal savings over time. Both opportunities are a great fit for accomplishing sustainability initiatives and reducing utility bill costs. You can strategically allocate your total annual electrical consumption to both programs to maximize your overall outcome.

OUR RECOMMENDATION

Own a solar array(s) at your site using the Solar Rewards (20 kW). If your usage is significant, use the Xcel Capacity Credit Program (100 kW to 1000 kW) to offset as much of your electrical consumption as you can at the highest possible return. If you are a large consumer, allocate any remaining energy consumption that is not offset by the above to a solar garden subscription to capture the additional marginal returns that benefit your bottom line.
