Our mayor and council rotate with an election schedule. The mayor is elected every two years. Council members are elected every 4 years, 3 council members or 2 council members depending on the rotation of their term.
Council meets every second and fourth Monday evenings of the month at 6:00 pm. in the Council Chambers at city hall. If you have a cause, issue, question or are just curious, please feel free to come to the meetings. Notify the City Clerk at least 10 minutes prior to the meeting you will need the floor to speak and what your topic is regarding. The City Clerk will then pass that to the Mayor for you to be acknowledged.
The Council meetings are live on Mediacom Government Access Channel for you to see and hear what is happening in our community. Should you have questions about the meetings or the Government Access Channel, please call City Hall to discuss.
