The ground-up corncobs are non-conductive and just abrasive enough to dislodge the dirt and grime without causing damage to wiring and other components.Applying this mixture in an underground environment requires an elaborate system to make use of the mine's compressed air supply, and a custom-built dust collection system. This system seals off the area being cleaned and collects the dirt, grime and abrasive material.
