In 2005, Hale Hill Biofuels become the first distributor of B20 in Connecticut (20% CT produced biodiesel which is then blended with Ultra Low Sulphur Diesel creating the cleanest fuel available in CT). This fuel is a "drop in fuel" and can be used in any oil burning furnace without modifications to equipment. The fuel is lower in mercury and lead and high in lubricty which is beneficial to the efficiency of the system. Hale Hill Biofuels sells on and off road biodiesel blends as well as bioheat for homes, schools and businesses. We also sell B99, the highest blend available, to the most environmentally proactive.  Hale Hill Biofuels currently runs over 20 vehicles, including personal and farming equipment; on biodiesel using up to a 75% blend of Biodiesel.

Since 2005, Hale Hill BioFuels has been providing biodiesel blended heating oil, on road and off road diesel fuel to Connecticut homeowners, businesses and municipalities. Collectively, we have reduced  CO2 emissions by over 100,000 tons!Hale Hills biodiesel is treated with an antimicrobial and filtered to 1 micron to ensure the highest quality biodiesel is blended with additized diesel and Ultra Low Sulfur heating oil.  We deliver premium B99 biodiesel as well as B5 and B20 blends throughout the state.  Automatic delivery service is available and recommended. Our Story

Hale Hill Tree Farm is the inspiration location where Ric Hosley, Founder of Hale Hill BioFuels, embarked on an unexpected journey; a journey which began in 2005 while seated on his tractor wondering what kind of world he would leave his children.   As the tractor puffed a gray black smoke, Ric knew all too well that todays pollution, energy resource depletion, energy insecurity and climate change would be his childrens to bear unless real change was made.  Out of smoke grew fire and the will to make a difference. After testing biodiesel blends in his own fleet of trucks and farm equipment, Hale Hill Biofuels began distributing biodiesel blended fuel to homeowners, businesses, schools and municipalities throughout Connecticut.
