Michael P Hobin, President and founder of H2W®, recognized the desire of many small- to mid-sized manufacturers to expand globally, and has answered their call with a new business model to enable their success.
Prior to starting H2W®, Mike was the President of Sorbent Products Company Inc (SPC) – a well-recognized global leader in spill containment products for over 30 years.
During his tenure at SPC, the company expanded from a small, regional distributor to a vertically integrated manufacturer with facilities in the United States, Belgium and China. A worldwide network of distributors and sales representatives supported these international manufacturing capabilities.
The first phase of Mike’s fine career culminated in 2006 when he was awarded the Ernst and Young New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year Award. This prestigious honor recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who are building and leading dynamic and growing businesses.
