ABOUT PROPANE
RESIDENTIAL
residentialdelivery-greeneThese days, it can be tough to find good service. With big propane companies buying each other out, it can be difficult to even keep up with the name of the company you do business with. Not with Greenes Gas. With something as personal and vital as home heating, you want a company you can depend on to provide prompt, exceptional service. Weve been doing that for more than 50 years. As our customer, you will have peace of mind that you are getting your propane from personnel who have received the most intensive and complete safety training available.
FUEL SUPPLY SYSTEMS
The Fuel Supply System is the safest, most efficient and comprehensive system available. We are the only propane company in the area to offer such a system. We install freshly painted, ASME-certified 120-, 330-, 500- and 1,000-gallon tanks (available for above- or below-ground installation). All tanks are purged and tested before being placed into service. We use a two-stage regulation system with state-of-the-art U.L.-approved regulators, specifically designed for use with todays highly energy-efficient appliances. All installations are followed by a complete gas appliance safety check. Our U.L.-approved polypropylene gas lines are impervious to corrosive soil conditions. Fertilizers and landscaping chemicals wont attack the line, causing underground leaks. The system will be certified leak-free, and the regulators pressure will be adjusted to deliver maximum efficiency to your appliances. At each fuel delivery, a visual safety inspection is performed to keep the system in peak operating condition.
Auto Fill
Most Greenes Gas customers are scheduled for automatic propane delivery. We encourage this option because it decreases the chance of running out of propane. Our automatic fill system is based on a degree day, which means that if the average temperature for the day is below 65 degrees, most customers will require some heat to be used in their homes. Using the degree day system helps us calculate how much propane you will use for each degree day, and allows us to know when to fill your tank. Should an auto fill customer run out of propane, we will fill the tank immediately and credit the account with 100 gallons of propane at no charge.*
Will Call
With the Will Call propane delivery option, it is very important that the customer keeps an eye on the level of propane in the tank. If you run out of fuel, a leak test will have to be conducted on your gas system before we can fill your tank, and your account will incur an additional service charge. Please allow five working days for the delivery. If customers supplement their heating fuel with other means, such as wood or corn stoves, we must be notified so we can place the account on a call-as-needed basis. Customers must reorder fuel when their tank reaches 25%. We also offer a wireless monitor system that allows you to view your tank fuel percent from the comfort of your home. These monitors are available at any of our locations for a small fee.
