Go Bio began operations in October, 2008 to grow a locally sustainable bio-fuels (Biodiesel) company based on the collection of Used Cooking Oil (UCO). The company currently collects from more than 200 participating restaurants throughout Oregon. Jeff Rola is the President/CEO. Go Bio sold its first 1,000 gallons of Used Cooking Oil to SeQuential Pacific Biodiesel in January 2009. By June 2016, Go Bio had sold more than 600,000 gallons of UCO for the production of clean, renewable, Oregon-made biodiesel.
