Financials
On June 14, 2017, GenOn and certain of its subsidiaries filed voluntary petitions for relief under Chapter 11 of the United States Bankruptcy Code to implement the settlement and restructuring transactions contemplated by the Restructuring Support Agreement (RSA). On October 16, 2018, REMA and its direct subsidiaries filed petitions seeking Chapter 11 protection in the Bankruptcy Court in an effort to implement a prepackaged Chapter 11 plan of reorganization. REMA has also entered into settlement and restructuring transactions under a Restructuring Support Agreement.
