Gauley River Minerals, LLC (GRM) provides consultations on many aspects of minerals appraisals, lease negotiations, audits of royalty statements, and non-certified title opinions. In addition to performing an assignment, it is a priority of GRM to provide guidance to clients that they are unlikely to find anywhere else. GRM personnel has performed over 100 oil & gas appraisals in the Appalachian Basin for formations such as the Marcellus Shale and Utica Shale.Gauley River Minerals is a consulting company based out of northern West Virginia and is managed by Rachel L. Vass, PG.  We are focused in West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Ohio but are willing to travel throughout the Unites States. Rachel Vass has over 10 years consulting experience.  She has worked for the natural gas industry since arriving in West Virginia over 5 years ago.  In addition, she has also performed work for coal companies and other industries.  She has Litigation Support experienced for both the natural gas and coal industries.  Before coming to West Virginia, she worked in Columbus, Ohio in the Civil Engineering Materials Testing field. Rachel has a Bachelor's Degree in both Civil Engineering and Geology.  She is a Registered Professional Geologist in Kentucky and is certified an Engineering Intern in West Virginia.  In addition, she is an Certified Minerals Appraiser by the International Institute of Minerals Appraisers.
