The Galway Cooperative, and now GalwayCoop.com, Inc., a.k.a, GalwayCo-Op.com, Propane4Less.com, Fuels4Less.com., was established in 2006 with 12 members. As of today our membership numbership 15 thousand. Although the Co-op was started in Galway, NY we have significantly expanded the number of counties that we can service throughout the Capital Region and beyond. Our geographical service area now includes 14 counties throughout Northern New York. The Co-op is constantly evaluating different products and services to offer our members at a discount. Although we are not a non-profit organization we do typically donate 10% or more of the gross profit to local food pantries, Breast Cancer Awareness and ALS, as well as the fight against Autism.  The Galway Co-op is not a conventional cooperative. We currently operate more as a buying group, but we will in the future, offer a conventional cooperative style structure. Our collective goal is to provide Co-op members with an exclusive discount price program for various products and services. We hope that you join our group and continue to be a member for many years to come.  Propane members, when you fill out the membership application and send it in with your $35.00 membership fee (click here to Join Now), someone from the Ferrellgas staff (800 437-4856) will be contacting you within the next few days to discuss billing and delivery options. Once that is completed an appointment to come out to your property will be set. A pressure check will be performed at that time to ensure there are no leaks. This service is free of charge. If you are using tanks that belong to another company, we will disconnect those tanks, set them aside and install our tanks, free of charge. And of course, we also offer 24 hour emergency service.

PROPANE

Like all propane companies, the Co-ops propane pricing is based on the wholesale price which fluctuates regularly. The Co-op has negotiated with Ferrellgas on a scaled fixed number above the current posted wholesale price based on usage. Your individual price is determined by how much propane you use annually. Because of our group buying power and the negotiated pricing, we are assured the lowest possible propane pricing around for the next five years.
