In September 1994, We! Darcy and Charlene O'Neill opened the doors to our home and started an independent home heating oil company on Acadia Street in New Glasgow. Darcy, who followed in his father and grandfather's (who were both involved in the oil industry) footsteps took an aggressive interest in the oil business almost 40 years ago.     In 1997, Darcy's father Patton worked in the business for a period of 10 years, who then at 70 years young, decided to retire. In 2001, our son Adam joined the family business and is presently still working for the company. The business quickly grew, and in 1999 we built a new office/garage building relocating our business to 56 John Street, New Glasgow where our business still resides.   Taking pride in being a locally owned family business, we work hard to provide personalized, friendly service to all of our customers. We make a great effort to know all of our customers personally and in return, giving customers a chance to get to know us. Whatever your heating needs are, Fuel Time is here to meet them.
