Frederick Bros. Oil Company exists because of the foresight of brothers Don and Phil Frederick in 1946. They believed that providing fuel delivery and servicing oil burning equipment in a prompt and courteous manner was a service needed in the Greater Portland area. As the years passed and the business continued to grow so did the reputation of a solid, trustworthy company.

Frederick Bros. Oil & Propane is a family owned and operated business which has been providing reliable and trustworthy service to local families for 70 years.  We provide oil and propane fuel delivery service to Scarborough Maine and surrounding areas. We also offer burner and furnace repair and installation services as well as oil tank replacement.  We are Southern Maines largest authorized Monitor dealer, and our line of direct vent heaters and on demand hot water heaters includes Rinnai, Toyotomi, and Mantis.

Today the company is headed by Jeff and Kevin Frederick, Dons sons. We are offering the following discount budget programs for the 2018-2019 heating season. These plans are available for #2 Fuel, K-1 Kerosene, and Propane. These are NOT locked-in pricing plans, so the price per gallon will vary throughout the season. You will be required to sign an agreement that will be a commitment to purchase your fuel from us for the period of September 2018 thru May 2019. A minimum usage of 200 gallons is required.

"Clear & Simple" 2-Pay Budget Plan ($.10 off per gallon)
We will multiply your annual fuel usage by an estimated price per gallon - then split that total into two equal payments. Payments will be due on August 1st, 2018 and then on January 1st 2019. You will receive a discount of $.10 per gallon off the posted cash price on the day of delivery. This extra discount is above and beyond your normal regular discount.

"Clear & Simple" Monthly Budget Plan ($.05 cents off per gallon)
We will multiply your annual fuel usage by an estimated price per gallon - then split that total into even monthly payments. You may choose a 10 month, or 12 month plan. Payments will be due by the 20th of each month. You will receive a discount of $.05 per gallon off the posted cash price on the day of delivery. This extra discount is above and beyond your normal regular discount.

#2 Heating Oil Fuel

We offer Heating Oil Plus, a state of the art, premium heating oil specially formulated to maximize your energy dollars. Heating Oil Plus burns cleanly and efficiently providing a safe, reliable heat source for you and your family.

Diesel Fuel

We offer both On-Road & Off-Road Diesel. Accounts can be set up on an Automatic, or Will-Call Basis depending on your needs. Please contact us for pricing. (Ultra low sulfur only)

K-1/Kerosene Fuel

Generally for the use in modern space heaters and Monitor/Toyo heaters. K-1 can also be used in outside tanks, as it will not congeal in Maines cold winters. Heating Oil Plus.

Propane delivery 

In 2002, Frederick Bros. Oil Company became Frederick Bros. Oil & Propane. With the ever increasing amount of homes using multiple fuel sources each year, we wanted to be able to better serve our customers by offering a secondary heat source. Propane has become a more popular choice mainly due to its versatility.

Just think of a heat pump as a heat transporter, extracting warm air from your home during the summer, and reversing operation to bring warm air in during the winter. Though it may be difficult to believe there is enough warmth in outdoor air during the winter to heat your home, Daikin systems can actually deliver heat in conditions as low as -13 degrees Fahrenheit to keep you warm and toasty inside.
