Forge Energy is an independent exploration and production company focused on value creation through acquisition and leasing, consolidation and exploitation of mature oil and gas producing properties in the central United States. Founded in 2011 and headquartered in San Antonio, Forge is supported by a total of $400 million in private equity commitments from EnCap Investments L.P. and Pine Brook Partners.  Current operations are focused in the Delaware Basin with an emphasis on Loving, Ward, Winkler, Reeves and Pecos counties in Texas. Targets include the Bone Spring and Wolfcamp formations.  Forge Energys three founding partners have a long history of working together in senior executive positions at Burlington Resources. When Barry Winstead, Danny Boone and Arnold Nall joined together to create Forge Energy, they set out to build an exceptional company with a commitment to excellence and the highest degree of integrity in every aspect of the companys business. Fundamental to Forge Energys success is an emphasis on the safety of its employees and contractors while respecting the environment and communities where the company operates. Our Team

As iron sharpens iron, skilled professionals sharpen one another. We built our managment team based on this core principal. With more than 20 full-time employees and several carefully selected regular contractors, this highly talented group has strong technical capabilities and the capacity to understand and manage complex assets.

Where We Work

Forge Energys operations are characterized by strong annual production as well as reserve and revenue growth. We are currently focused in the Delaware Basin, where we have more than 34,000 net acres in Loving, Ward, Winkler, Reeves and Pecos counties where we are presently derisking the Bone Spring and Wolfcamp formations.  We are seeking additional opportunities in the central continental United States.
