Established in 1938, Farstad Oil is a U.S. multi-state supplier and distributer of refined petroleum products, including gasoline, distillates, propane, and lubricating oils. Our multi-source supply structure, combined with our delivery fleet of 75 transports, distinguish us as a supplier and distributor of choice for customers who want exceptional value and steadfast reliability.

Expanding to serve you better
The expansion of Farstad Oil is thanks to our recent partnership with Parkland Fuel Corporation. In 2014, Farstad Oil was purchased by Parkland Fuel, Canadas largest and one of North Americas fastest growing independent marketers of fuel and petroleum products. Parkland connects refiners to communities, and communities to the petroleum products they use to heat their homes, power their industries, and drive their economies.

Together, the combined strength of Farstad Oil and Parkland enables the reliable supply and distribution of about 250 million gallons of gasoline and distillates, 2 million gallons of propane and 6 million gallons of lubricants annually throughout the Midwestern U.S.

Resilience, commitment and determination define us
In 2005, our resolve as a company was put to the test when our entire operation burned down in a fire. Everything was reduced to ashes. All we had left was our fleet of transport vehicles and our employees commitment to continue to provide exceptional products, service and value to our customers.We would not be held down. We rose from tragedy and rebuilt our warehouses, relocated our offices, and resumed operations. It would have been easy to give up, but instead, we gritted our teeth, dusted ourselves off, and kept pushing forward—because it was the right thing to do.During our rebuilding, we are proud to say that we retained all our employees and all our customers—every single one. The relationships that we had worked so hard to build with our customers, the banks, and with our suppliers held strong.
