Faro Oil & Gas is a Denver-based Exploration & Development company focused on oil and natural gas production in conventional and unconventional reservoirs across the United States.  As a full-service operating company, our technical team oversees engineering, drilling & completion, geology, reservoir analysis, and ongoing site management. Our goal is to shape a new experience in the oilfield––where asset performance and value potential is maximized by applying leading-edge technologies to reentries, recompletions, and new development.

Headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Faro Oil & Gas is a privately owned energy company focused on acquiring and developing proved-producing assets in conventional and unconventional plays across the continental United States.  Faro’s technical team has worked together for nearly a decade, combining efforts to identify and assess prospects encompassing more than 500 drilling locations with over 160 wells drilled in the past eight years. The following outlines key combined team performance highlights, which demonstrate the ability to evaluate geologic potential as well as identify and implement operational efficiencies in various production strategies. The team now applies this same skillset and passion to Faro Oil & Gas, working to identify and optimize opportunities in our core areas of interest.

Acquisition & Development Strategy

At Faro Oil & Gas, we believe the key to creating value in the oilfield is understanding how to minimize the effect of price swings by efficiently deploying capital into projects based on the strength of single-well economics. As such, our strategy focuses on acquiring de-risked proved prospects with significant production data that can be leveraged to develop a go-forward plan to maximize overall prospect potential. This provides the dual benefit of immediate cash flows from existing wells which can be used to help fund continued development.  Another key component is taking advantage of technical arbitrage opportunities, applying the technology of today to older, more traditional fields to jumpstart and/or revitalize production potential. Included would be reentries and recompletions of existing wellbores in addition to PUD development using directional drilling and modern completion designs.
