What a truly amazing situation it is for people of our time that not only can we generate our own free energy but we get paid for doing so and can make a small profit in many cases. It is really quite extraordinary and how lucky we are in this generation.

The combination of the Feed-in Tariff and the Renewable Heat Incentive is a truly remarkable situation that should be grabbed with both hands whilst it’s still available in its present form.

Add this to the fact that both solar PV and solar thermal systems have evolved such that they run effortlessly without, or certainly very little, human intervention it is an even more remarkable situation for personal energy generation.
