History &  Mission

In 1984 Wayman Pritchard purchased a single oil pump truck in Knoxville, Tennessee and began building a service-oriented business called Enterprise Oil. That business has grown to over one hundred trucks/trailers and equipment in four different locations throughout the Southeast region. Enterprise Oil serves hundreds of businesses ranging from small oil change garages to Tier 1 Automotive Groups. Today the company is still family-owned and operated, and continues to be an experienced and reliable choice for used oil disposal.  From day one, the needs of our customers have motivated our expansion and change. As we’ve grown in size, recycling used oil, Enterprise Oil has expanded to offer a diverse scope of services including zero-landfill waste solutions, cardboard/plastic/paper recycling, waste to energy options, and other sustainable environment-friendly services. We are dedicated to exceptional service, safety and environmental sustainability.  Being a family run operation allows us to be flexible in taking care of the varying needs of our customers. We have the advantage of customizing waste solutions and personalizing the services we offer. What is your impact?

In the United States alone over 250 million tons of trash is generated with less than 34% of it being recycled according to the EPA records from 2013. According to NORA (National Oil Recyclers Association), every year millions of gallons of used oil are not properly disposed of. Improperly handling used oil and failure to dispose of it safely can be detrimental to our environment and contaminate our water sources while the value in the oil’s re-use is lost.  By recycling used oil in line with EPA standards, we extend its life and prevent it from contaminating the environment.

USED OIL SERVICES

Used oil and automotive fluids can be recycled into a re-usable alternate product or fuel. After its initial use, we collect the oil, analyze it and process it for energy recovery. With a focus on environmental impact, you can be certain that Enterprise Oil adheres to exceptional safety standards, regulatory compliance, and proper handling/transportation of your used materials.  To assist in managing your used oil program to prevent overflows/spills/emergencies we can schedule you into a route (ex. monthly, weekly pick-ups) or on an as-needed basis. We work hard to be a partner that simplifies the process for you while offering options that work best for your capacities and needs.

ZERO LANDFILL INITIATIVE

A greener today for a greener tomorrow relies heavily on recycling and keeping reusable liquids and products out of landfills. We offer the ability to take your company “Zero Landfill” in part or entirely. Currently we are managing several Tier 1 Automotive companies’ waste enabling them to be a zero landfill operation. We can help you meet your environmental stewardship objectives in whatever capacity you are seeking.  One way we accomplish this Zero-Landfill initiative is a “waste to energy” option. Waste-to-energy takes used materials/waste and in its re-use, remaining potential is converted to energy. Recycling in this particular way seeks to preserve limited natural resources and use technology to minimize our carbon footprint. The goal is not to relocate or even compact the waste, but to turn the waste itself into heat, steam or electricity where the energy potential is recovered.  We offer recycling and reuse/repurposing services as well. We work with you to develop a strategy for managing your used material and demonstrating your concern for the community and environment/planet as a whole.

We have a trained and certified staff capable of assisting in maintenance and waste removal for large scale industrial companies as well. Regulatory compliance, strict safety standards, and responsible handling and transportation.  We offer competitive pricing and flexibility to find scheduling and service options that work best for you. If we service a small part of your manufacturing plant, we can move beyond compliance to obtaining your environmental goals with multiple waste streams.

ANCILLARY SERVICES

Enterprise Oil has the capacity to handle a number of other miscellaneous waste streams and offer services beyond oil recycling and basic compliance.We do not accept hazardous waste at this time or cooking oil/food waste.
