It is one of the largest European photovoltaic solar energy projects. The plant has 25 generation units, a power of 300 megawatts (MW) and has been directly connected to the very high voltage grid. It will produce more than 350 gigawatt hours , which is equivalent to the average energy consumption of the entire population of Bordeaux.
