Prior to founding Eagle in 2009, Mr. Antry was the Founder of Beta Oil & Gas (1997), leading Beta through its IPO and onto growth that ranked Beta as number 125 in the Oil & Gas Journal's top 200 oil & gas producers in the U.S. He successfully merged Beta with Houston based PetroHawk Energy (2004), providing the initial platform that ultimately placed PetroHawk as one of the top producers in the U.S., ultimately and selling to BHP Billiton for $15 billion. Mr. Antry has over 40 years of industry experience and is from a third generation Oklahoma oil family. He received his BBA and MBA from Texas Christian University. Additionally, he was a nominee for Entrepreneur of the Year for 2011 by Ernst and Young and was one of three Oklahoma finalists for that honor for 2012. He is a past Board Member of both Junior Achievement, the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), and is a member of various industry organizations, including the Independent Petroleum Association of America (IPAA), the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma (PAO), The Wildcatters Club and is on the Advisory Board of Tulsa ADAM (Acquisitions Divestitures and Mergers) He has been honored as a Local Hero by the Tulsa Regional Chamber.
Mr. Kemendo was a founding Board Member and became the Chief Financial Officer of the original iteration of Eagle. Prior to joining Eagle, Mr. Kemendo spent 26 years in the practice of public accounting as a partner with Woodrum, Kemendo, Tate & Westemeir, PLLC, a large private accounting and consulting firm located in Tulsa. While there, he provided financial, tax, accounting and consulting services to a broad range of clients throughout the US, including numerous exploration and development companies, service entities and midstream providers. In addition, Mr. Kemendo has served as the interim Chief Executive Officer and the Chief Financial Officer of a variety of businesses at the request of Boards or at the pleasure of the Courts. Further, on numerous occasions, Mr. Kemendo has been appointed as a receiver by both federal and state courts over operating and liquidating businesses. Prior to forming his own accounting firm, Mr. Kemendo began his public accounting career in 1977 with Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co., which is known as KPMG today. Initially, Mr. Kemendo was assigned to the audit department where his clients included both public and private exploration and production companies. Thereafter, Mr. Kemendo transferred to the tax department where he specialized in oil and gas taxation. In 1977 Mr. Kemendo graduated from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania with a BS in Economics and a major in accounting. Mr. Kemendo is a member of numerous professional organizations and has served on the boards of several charitable organizations.
