Diamond Energy Services was established in 1996 and is a market leader in providing service rigs, coiled tubing units to both the oil and natural gas sectors in south and West Central Saskatchewan, and Alberta. Diamond’s head office is located in Swift Current, Saskatchewan where the company has large welding, fabrication and mechanical shops. Diamond has an additional office in West Central Saskatchewan (Cut Knife and Unity).Diamond provides service throughout the life cycle of a well from completion of a newly drilled well to abandonment of a depleted well. The company has three divisions that provide it with exposure to both the oil and natural gas sector of the industry.

The operating company, when acting as prime contractor, is responsible for coordination and general supervision of all activities at the work site, including activities carried out by contractors, sub-contractors, service companies and suppliers.
