Davis Oil was established by J. Earl Davis in 1926, originally as Davis Coal & Oil. We remained with our former name until the late 1940’s when the coal division was sold, and we officially became the Davis Oil we’re known as today. Davis Oil was headed by Richard Walsh (the husband of Earl’s daughter Jane) from the mid-1950’s until 1989. From 1989 to the present time Davis Oil is now in our third generation of leadership.  At Davis Oil we would like our customers to feel like they’re part of one big family, and to be confident in knowing that Davis Oil is dedicated to providing the best customer service possible. You call we deliver! We are happy to be your “will call” fuel oil provider and will always deliver fuel oil to you 24/7. However, we prefer to receive your call when your tank reaches the ½ way point if possible. If you are unsure about monitoring your tank level, we have options that our service department can install that will allow you to easily monitor your fuel from your smartphone. We Replace And Install Tanks Inside And Outside Your Home.

Davis Oil supplies and sell the North American made Granby 12-gauge oil tanks. These tanks are proven for indoor and outdoor use and we have used them exclusively for decades.  Outside tanks require being set on a solid concrete pad in which we include in our outside tank package. We have outside tank structures that also act as secondary containment for added protection. Some tanks can last for decades and a lot of this depends on the environment where the oil tank is located. Tanks that are in conditioned (heated or climate controlled) spaces generally have a longer life than tanks that are exposed to constant high humidity. Keeping a tank full in the non-heating season also lengthens the life of the oil tank.
