CVD Equipment Corporation designs, develops and manufactures customized equipment and process solutions used to develop and manufacture solar, nano and advanced electronic components, materials and coatings for research and industrial applications.
We offer customized chemical vapor deposition, gas control and other equipment, which is used by customers to research, design and manufacture semiconductors, solar cells, smart glass, carbon nanotubes, nanowires, light emitting diodes (LEDs), micro electro-mechanical systems (MEMS) and industrial coatings as well as equipment for surface mounting of components onto printed circuit boards
CVD Equipment Corporation offers a wide variety of custom turn-key solutions such as Chemical vapor deposition systems, gas/liquid delivery cabinets, gas panels and related gas abatement systems. Our products are used globally for both R&D and production facilities across many industries such as the semiconductor, MEMS, Solar, Alternative Energy, Nanotechnology, optoelectronics, surface coating and many more.
We are a vertically integrated manufacturer; we bring in raw metal and ship out finished systems. Our strong system design and manufacturing capabilities have positioned us for fast R&D development and rapid transfer to production. We have expanded our Application Lab to develop turnkey solutions for the growing Solar and Nanotechnology markets.
CVD Equipment Corporation’s headquarter and Application Lab are located in Long Island, NY.
Our Vision
We focus on accelerating the commercialization of tomorrow’s technologies, related to processes requiring temperature/pressure/gas delivery controls
CVD Equipment Corporation is an innovative driven company that constantly focuses on improving state of the art technology. We specialize in designing and building systems with process solutions that control temperature, pressure and/or gas delivery and safety systems. We focus on advancing in growing alternative energy and nano material fields.
Our customary business model is to build one-of-a-kind custom equipment solutions. Our vertically integrated design and manufacturing operations enables us to provide the best value to our customers who want to explore their own unique and innovative ideas. As CVD’s customer base grows, so does our portfolio of solutions. In the past our custom systems became the starting point for another semi-custom system solution and allowed us to provide a cost efficient budget. The combination of reusable designs coupled with ongoing innovation development, on demand and tight in-house cost controls allows us to both provide unparalleled customization and service today. Since our growth strongly depends on our customer’s success and their future growth demands, we constantly stay focused on providing our customers with the best service and support possible so that their commercialization efforts can be accelerated as quickly as possible.
Our expanded Applications & Research Laboratory enables us to provide additional services to our customers. The installation and facilitation of custom built systems in our Applications Laboratory allows the customer’s scientists to work together with our staff to qualify and refine the system and process solution so that when the system ships to the customer’s facility, it is fully qualified for its intended purpose. This option can greatly reduce the time and risk of a commercialization process scale-up phase and help startup companies realize commercialization more quickly.

Corporate History
In 1982, Leonard Rosenbaum founded CVD Equipment Corporation on Long Island, New York. In 1985, the company went public on the American Stock Exchange (AMEX)and moved to the NASDAQ exchange (CVV) with a second public offering worth $6.3M in 2007.
In 1999 CVD purchased Stainless Design Concepts whose product line includes fully automated process gas / liquid delivery systems, as well as orbital welding and clean room manufacturing infrastructure. We acquired Research International in 2001 from New Hampshire which brought surface mount rework station capabilities to CVD. In 2002, we bought Conceptronic and relocated it from Minnesota and expanded our thermal reflow oven technology. In 2005 First Nano was acquired and relocated from California which gained us instant credibility into the Carbon Nanotube and Nanowire research markets, as well as a new focus on selling turnkey products and process solutions to universities and research institutes worldwide.
Since our inception, CVD Equipment Corporation has enabled tomorrow’s technologies™ by focusing on designing and manufacturing next generation thermal process solutions for Semiconductor, Solar, Alternative Energy, MEMS, LED, Nanotechnology, R&D and Specialty Coating processing, markets. Our ability to understand specific customer requirements has allowed us to win contracts servicing startup organizations, research institutes, and production companies worldwide including many Fortune 500 companies.
