CountryMark is an American-owned oil exploration, production, refining and marketing company. The companys complete line of premium quality liquid fuels begins with light, sweet crude oil, which is refined to the highest specifications at the CountryMark refinery in Mt. Vernon, Indiana. Fuel quality is protected as it travels north along a 238-mile private pipeline. State-of-the-art blending technology at each CountryMark fuel terminal ensures that biodiesel and ethanol blended fuels are formulated for optimal driving performance and winter operability.

Equaling CountryMarks fuel quality is the companys complete line of high quality lubricants, which are sold as CountryMark Advantage Lubricants. CountryMark also carries API-certified TerraCair Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF).  CountryMark products are sold in Indiana, Illinois, Michigan, Ohio and Kentucky. Today, there are more than 200 CountryMark branded delivery routes and more than 100 CountryMark-branded fuel stations. More than 65% of farmers and 60% of school corporations in the CountryMark service area are powered by CountryMark fuels.  CountryMarks upstream business includes an impressive team of petroleum exploration professionals, geologists, production engineers, drilling specialists and reservoir managers. CountryMarks oil exploration and production group operate more than 900 oil wells producing ~1,800 barrels of oil per day.   Based on 2018 revenues, CountryMark was ranked by the Indianapolis Business Journal as the 9th largest private company with headquarters in Indiana. CountryMark has been a farmer-owned cooperative since 1919 and was recognized in 2012 as the 12th largest ag cooperative in the nation.

Oil Exploration & Production 

  CountryMarks strategic objective is to assure a reliable and sustainable supply of local crude to meet CountryMarks daily refining requirements and produce a quality portfolio of finished products. One of the critical steps in achieving this priority occurred in 2008, when CountryMark began investing in oil exploration and production opportunities in the Illinois Basin. Those early investments led CountryMark, in 2010, to make a greater commitment to its interest in American oil exploration and production. At that time, assets were acquired, employees were hired and Countrymark Energy Resources, LLC, the oil exploration and production subsidiary of Countrymark Cooperative Holding Corp., was formed.

CountryMarks initial oil production acquisition in 2010 included 750 oil wells that produced 1,100 barrels of oil per day. Through improved oil field operations, oil exploration success and carefully selected acquisition, CountryMark has grown to become one of the largest oil producers in the Illinois Basin. Today, CountryMark operates more than 900 oil wells, producing ~1800 barrels of oil per day.  More than 90% of CountryMarks oil leases are located in the Illinois Basin, a 60,000 square mile depression in southern Illinois, southern Indiana and western Kentucky. CountryMark also owns oil leases in northern Indiana, Kansas and Texas.

• Keep Full — Sign up for the keep full program and you will always have the CountryMark fuel you need to get the job done.

• Tank Maintenance — CountryMark branded dealers complete a multi-step inspection EVERY time your fuel tank is filled. During the inspection, your driver will check the fuel inventory level of the tank, and will visually inspect fuel quality as well as the condition of the fuel tank, hoses, nozzle, and fittings.

• Tank Equipment — CountryMark branded dealers have an ample supply of dual and single wall tanks available for sale in a variety of sizes to meet all needs.

Full Synthetic Diesel Engine Oil 

   CountryMark Advantage™ Full Synthetic Heavy Duty Diesel Engine Oil is engineered for hard-working diesel engines. This unique formulation offers outstanding wear protection, oil consumption control and extended-drain technology. Available in SAE 5W40 

Full Synthetic Gasoline Engine Oil

CountryMark Advantage™ Full Synthetic Gasoline Engine Oil is formulated with the latest in lubricant technology. Expect superior performance in four-stroke naturally aspirated and turbocharged gasoline engines. New improved performance documentation includes the API Service Symbol, or “donut”, with API Service SN and Resource Conserving certification. Dexos 1 Certification. Demonstrates maximum fuel economy. Available in SAE 5W30

Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil   

CountryMark Advantage™ Anti-Wear Hydraulic Oil is formulated using API Group II base stocks to provide maximum pump life and trouble-free service in industrial and mobile hydraulic systems. Advantage Premium AW hydraulic has an excellent balanced additive system that provides oxidation, thermal stability, anti-rust, demulsibility, anti-wear, and antifoam characteristics. The zinc anti-wear agent used in these oils helps minimize wear at high speeds and high pressure, and in vane and gear pumps, while meeting the lubrication requirements of axial piston pumps having bronze and steel metallurgy. In testing (ASTM D-943), ISO 32, 46 and 68 grades provided more than 4500 hours of oxidation stability. This is a special purpose oil (nondetergent).
