In the early 20th century, the farmers of Christian County needed a reliable supplier of fuel, fertilizer, as well as a place to sell and store their grain for their businesses. These farmers banded together and invested their own money to found Morrisonville Farmers’ Cooperative in 1919 and Christian County Farmers Supply Company in 1926. After a century of business, in 2021 these two storied cooperatives joined together to form Central Commodity FS. Central Commodity FS is governed and owned by local farmers and will be a dependable partner with these Member Owners and their future generations.
