Capital Oil Inc. is a family owned and operated business located in the Jackson, MS area. Stanley Roberts is the founder of Capital Oil and became involved in the petroleum industry when he started working for his father-in-law G.C Chambers, who was a Gulf Oil consignee of the Bulk Plant in Newton, MS, the current Cappy’s on Third Street, and the Cappy’s on Hwy 35 S. When Mr. Chambers died, Stanley Roberts decided to purchase and take over the three locations. He took over in 1975 and later named the company Capital Oil, Inc. in 1997. In 1997, he relocated the headquarters to Jackson. Over the years the company has grown and now operates five Cappy’s store locations, consigns 4 locations, operates the Capital Lube and Tire shop, Cups Coffee shop, and offers a variety of services in the petroleum industry. Capital Transport Inc. headquarters are shared by the same location as Capital Oil, Inc. in Richland, MS.

Our Services

Capital Oil, Inc. is the leading company in the Mississippi petroleum industry and operates Cappy’s Valero stores, a bulk plant, and the Capital Lube and Tire Shop. We also provide a wide array services within the petroleum industry to meet various company needs. Capital Transport Inc. works alongside Capital Oil to ensure that fuel reaches store locations in an efficient and safe manner.

Disaster Recovery

We hope that there are no future disasters, but Capital Oil is prepared to help if there is. We offer a full disaster recovery program. We have 2 serviceable bob trucks that are ready and available for any disaster recovery efforts. We have previously done disaster recovery for hurricanes and are prepared and experienced to deal with anything. 

Wet Fueling

Wet fueling is a big part of the services we offer at Capital Oil Inc. Wet fueling provides your company with both fuel inventory control and convenience because of our on-site delivery method. Many current customers are happy with the service and continue to use Capital Oil when it comes to their wet fueling needs.

Petroleum

• When it comes to supply needs, Capital Oil Inc. has you covered. Our wholesale operations include dealers, end users, wet hose users and lubricants. We operate multiple fuel sites ourselves and all of them are Valero branded. We sell to branded sub jobbers and several unbranded dealers.
• If you’re ready to partner with a leading company in the petroleum industry in the state of Mississippi, then give us a call. We can supply fuel as well as help out with equipment installation. We’re easy to work with and equipped with the knowledge and experience you need.
