2020 marks BMR Thermal’s 20th year providing combustion, waste heat recovery and pollution control equipment and services to industrial, commercial, utility and educational facilities throughout the six New England states (MA, NH, RI, ME, CT and VT). From the front end, with combustion modifications and new burner hardware through exhaust emission control, we are focused on efficiency and operational stability in addition to reduced stack emissions. We look at efficiency strategies to reduce fuel consumption, reducing total pounds of exhaust gas as well as operating cost savings into the future.
LOW EMISSIONS COMBUSTION
For package boilers, multi burner boilers, air heaters and heat recovery steam generators (HRSG), we offer burner equipment designed for the combustion of natural gas, liquid fuels and waste fuels with techniques to reduce NOx and CO emissions. Burner auxiliaries including Igniters, Atomizers, Fuel Trains, Register Burners and Duct Burners can be provided to enhance combustion systems from any manufacturer.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY & WASTE HEAT RECOVERY
A direct result of burning less fuel is reduced emissions. Our Condensing Economizers, Brazed Plate Heat Exchangers and Hydro-dynamic steam traps provide reduced air emissions along with substantial cost savings by recovering energy and reducing fuel consumption.
BACK END EMISSION REDUCTION
Capturing emissions before they leave the stack on any combustion source are offered through back end emission reduction using Selective Catalytic Reduction for NOx and Oxidation Catalyst for CO and VOC’s. We offer Ammonia systems for SNCR application and SCR retrofit. Replacement Catalyst materials for existing SCR installations are available to replace catalyst that have served their useful life, and for improving reduction performance, reducing pressure drop and adding CO reduction with a dual function catalyst. With local environmental agencies becoming more and more strict on chemical storage and transport, we are now able to provide Urea based systems to eliminate the hazardous transportation issue and minimize on-site storage of ammonia.
