Our Team
Chairman and CEO – Yung Chen
Mr. Chen has extensive experience in new product design, developing product lines and efficiently sourcing and manufacturing products for the consumer market. He has been instrumental in the growth of several privately owned firms and has 31 patents to his name. Mr. Chen has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Old Dominion University, Norfolk, VA.
Vice President of Business Development – Richard Hennek
Mr. Hennek is an experienced business leader and entrepreneur who has managed high growth rates in manufacturing environments and has successfully founded, established and sold manufacturing companies. He has international business experience and has worked with both privately held firms and Fortune 500 companies. As an entrepreneur, he has landed Fortune 500 accounts and worked with them to bring to market many new products. Mr. Hennek has a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Management from the University of Illinois and an MBA from DePaul University.
Chief Financial Officer – Dean Minardi
Mr. Minardi is a serial entrepreneur who has started, grown and been partner in several companies. With a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degree in accounting (CPA), he has extensive background in cost control and taxation issues and has been a partner in several large development projects. Complimenting his financial background is deep experience in developing a company’s business model and strategic direction. Mr. Minardi is also active in the local community and has served as a board member for the Leon County Educational Facilities Authority.
Non-managerial technical advisor – James Zheng, Ph.D.
Dr. Zheng is a professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Florida A&M University and Florida State University, working in the Center for Advanced Power Systems. He has received many awards, including the National Research Council Fellow (1993); Army Research & Development Achievement Award (1997); Faculty Research Award, NASA (1999); Engineering Faculty Research Award, FAMU-FSU College of Engineering (2001 & 2007); and Progress Energy Professional Development Award (2005). His primary fields of research have been in the fabrication and characterization of nano-materials and devices, energy storage and conversion devices, solid-state thin film deposition, photonic and chemical sensors and nonlinear optics. Dr. Zheng is the principle research scientist at Bing Energy International.
