Barnes Oil & Propane is a third-generation family business that keeps you comfortable with gas logs, space heaters, tank less (Rinnai) water heaters, gas log fireplaces, firebox inserts, fireplace inserts, propane fuel and propane tanks. We also provide Gasoline and Diesel deliveries for residential, agricultural, and commercial use. We can also fulfill your need for fuel tanks and pumps.

Our History

Henry Barnes and Clarence (Doolittle) Taylor purchased the company in 1961, when it was known as Taylor & Barnes. When Doolittle retired, Henry purchased the business and changed the name to Barnes Oil & Sons. Wayne, Randy, and Wyman Barnes have worked for the company since they were old enough to do so. They started selling auto parts in the early 1970s, and the name changed to Barnes Oil & Auto Parts.  In 1998, Wayne, Randy, and Wyman decided to stop carrying auto parts and started providing propane services. Since this change, Barnes Oil & Propane started hauling fuel and expanded the propane business with a second location. In addition to the gas and propane business, they own the Mr. B’s stores in the area. Adam and Christopher Barnes also work with Barnes Oil & Propane. The Barnes family believes in putting customers first, and they are here to help and serve you with all of your propane and gas needs.
