WELL DRILLING
It is very important to hire a reputable company that will properly construct your well project. Our goal is to install a well system that will produce safe water year after year. Not every well is constructed the same as far as the amount of casing and depth of wells. We like to meet every customer before a project begins. We want to make sure that the owner is informed of the operation before it begins. The drill process is loud and can be messy because of the rock formations that are being drilled through. Not every layer of rock that we drill through contains water. We would like for the well to produce anywhere from 30-40 gpm. In areas, some produce less and some produce more. After the well is drilled, we will have our pump installation crew set the pump in the well, set the pressure tank and install the waterlines. It is important that homeowners use common sense about using their water. Water is our most precious natural resource.
Geothermal
There are several different ways to install your geo-thermal system. The most common is a vertical closed loop system. This process is almost like drilling a water well. After your HVAC professional or utility company accesses your home they will recommend the amount of tonnage you will need to heat and cool your home. We will then proceed to drill in the location that best suits your property. 150’ of drilling equals 1 ton of heating/cooling. We will put a bentonites plug every 45’ required by DNR to safeguard from contaminating the groundwater. We will then dig between the loops and connect them together and run them into the house and connect to the unit. We will flush the air out of the system.
Solar
This is an awesome way to get water to your property if power is not available. We use a company from Texas for our solar systems. Lorentz Pumps have proven themselves for many years now and we have very satisfied customers. It unfortunately is more expensive to install the systems but compared to paying for power poles it becomes affordable. These systems will pump into a bulk storage tank and from there you can use gravity to feed your watering needs whether its filling a pond or to a water.
