Associated Oil is a Texas based, independent oil and gas exploration and production company, incorporated under the laws of the State of Texas. The company's main office is in Houston, Texas.

Associated Offshore Oil is a Texas based petroleum company that comprises of a team that has operated in the Gulf of Mexico, Libya, Nigeria, Gabon, Angola, Egypt, South America and the Middle East.

The birth and incorporation of Associated Offshore Oil is the outcome of intensive investigations, studies and collaborations with organizations in Nigeria and the Gulf of Guinea on the viability of developing various marginal oil fields and abandoned oil blocs as well as processing flared gases.

The management and the technical partners provide control and management of Associated Offshore Oil under a management agreement. Associated Offshore Oil is in no way a Government offshoot and this ensures continuity of strategic policy formulation and management which makes for long term success. Associated Offshore Oil currently has a strong working relationship with a publicly traded oil and gas company to develop various oil and gas interests in the Gulf of Guinea as well as working in the oil and gas servicing sectors. 

Associated Oil is currently engaged in high level discussions that could lead to lucrative Financial and Production Sharing Agreements with various oil license holders in the Gulf of Guinea where it plans to focus on in the future.

The board is accountable to shareholders for the creation and delivery of strong, sustainable financial performance and long-term shareholder value. To achieve this, the board directs and monitors the company's affairs within a framework of controls which enable risk to be accessed and managed effectively. It sets the company's aims, ensuring the right resources are in place to achieve these aims, and reviews management and financial performance. The Board also has responsibility for the company's core values and standards for business conduct and for ensuring that these, together with the company's obligations to its stakeholders, are widely understood throughout the Company.
