Repair Service:
Do you need to send an instrument in for repair or calibration? Please visit our Return Material Authorization page to request an RMA.
In-House Calibration:
Annual calibration includes the inspection of all electronic components and full calibration of the instrument and NIST traceable calibration certificate. The NIST traceable calibration certificate shows incoming and outgoing data and lists test and calibration equipment per NIST requirements. Jerome®instruments include the replacement of all internal filters and Tygon tubing. The old filters and Tygon tubing are considered hazardous materials because of possible contamination and must be disposed of properly.
The price quotation is for calibration and preventative maintenance. Additional repair parts and repair labor charges may be required and can only be quoted once your instrument is inspected at Arizona Instrument.
Loaner Service:
Loaner instruments are available for customer use for the duration of the repair (within the US/Canada only). A purchase order or credit card is required in advance. Freight charges are prepaid and billed against the PO/credit card or can be billed to your UPS or FedEx account.
On-site service
Validation (IQ/OQ/PQ):
Prior to putting a piece of equipment into service some industries require that certain protocols be followed in order to comply with federal regulations. Some regulatory agencies, such as the FDA, require that the findings from this protocol be on file for all equipment involved with production and/or process control. Our trained field service engineers are available to quickly bring a unit into service. They are familiar with the process required for instrument validation with regard to the documentation, signature requirements and the instrument’s operation.
Prior to beginning the protocol, we evaluate the condition of the unit to determine likelihood of passing validation protocol. Any required calibrations, adjustments or servicing are performed before beginning the validation protocol to ensure success.
On-Site Calibration:
We are capable of performing complete calibration and servicing of the Computrac® MAX® and Vapor Pro® series of moisture analyzers and Jerome® Mercury and Hydrogen Sulfide Analyzers. Annual calibration includes the inspection of all electronic components and full calibration of the instrument and NIST traceable calibration certificate. The NIST traceable calibration certificate shows incoming and outgoing data and lists test and calibration equipment per NIST requirements.
Technology Transfer:
Our trained and experienced Field Service Engineers can assist in developing the optimum parameter sets for your product on your new equipment to quickly bring a unit into service. They can complete the required documentation for transferring process control or quality control testing to the new Computrac® moisture analyzer from the prior standard equipment. Our Engineers are trained in application development, reference method testing, and quality control. They understand the requirements and the limitations of a production facility and can ease the transition to new equipment.
We offer our own proprietary, step-by-step Technology Transfer package. This package guides the end-user through the parameter development process to assist in correlating new equipment to established methods.
