Apollo Energies was founded by Mark Stout to build solar farms, enter into a PPA with the local utilities and then sell the solar farm. Think of buying a house, fixing it up, and selling it. Mark wanted to do something similar with solar farms. But he needed investors and in 2009 investors could not see the money making potential installing solar arrays. Now look at them.

Then he was introduced to energy efficiency at home by his partner, Bobbi Lu Bennett, who showed him some minor things he could do to lower his $400 monthly utility bill. The result was he began seeing savings immediately, up to $300 a month off his utility bills. His energy bills went from $400-$450 a month to a consistent $122-$127 a month. This low of a bill was unheard of in this size of house. Knowing he was not unique, he developed a business model to share that information with others, and Apollo Energies was grew a new Energy Efficiency division.

As an independent energy rating and consulting company, Apollo Energies is using unique strategic strategies to help thousands of homeowners and business owners save money and improve their cash flow, and in many instances showing how energy efficiency can generate sustained profits.
