Annova LNG is a 6.5 MTPA liquified natural gas (LNG) export facility on the Port of Brownsville, Texas deep water channel. With an experienced leadership team and investment-grade equity owners, including Exelon Corporation, Black & Veatch Corporation and Kiewit Corporation, Annova LNG is a leader among second-wave U.S. LNG facilities and caters to mid-scale LNG customers who are buying in 1.0 MTPA increments. The facility is working to expand and diversify the Brownsville and Rio Grande Valley economies by creating thousands of direct and indirect jobs, beginning with construction and continuing through long-term operations.
Located on more than 650 acres along the south side of the Brownsville Ship Channel, the purpose of the Annova LNG facility is to receive natural gas from the Agua Dulce, Texas region, provide any treatment necessary before, chill the natural gas until it condenses into LNG, store such LNG pending loading for tanker transport, and load the LNG onto LNG tankers for export to other countries. Annova LNG provides services that, depending on the needs of its customers, can include the transportation, treatment and processing of natural gas into LNG and the supply and trade of LNG volumes, as well as the development and execution of supply, storage and LNG offtake arrangements.
