Wayne Jeffers founded and incorporated a small geotechnical drilling company known as Amdrill Inc. in 1978. Mr. Jeffers, owner and President, dedicated the years between 1978-2011 to the establishment and growth of Amdrill Inc. Through those years, Amdrill Inc. expanded from geotechnical drilling services to include environmental drilling services, and difficult access job sites that other companies could not touch. He instilled a “go-getter” attitude in the work environment that paired well with Amdrill’s unique and rugged equipment. Through trial and his experience, he created methods for efficient and safe drilling practices.  In 2011, Tim Clarkson became the owner and President of Amdrill Inc. Mr. Clarkson, already having experience in the drilling industry, started as a driller’s assistant for Amdrill in 1989. Mr. Clarkson worked through the ranks to become Vice President and ultimately bought the company and became President of Amdrill Inc. in 2011, under the blessings and tutelage of Mr. Jeffers. Between 2011 and now, Mr. Clarkson expanded Amdrill’s equipment inventory and the services offered. From mini drill rigs designed for small lot residential jobs to the acquisition of AVS (American Vibracore Services) and its 77-foot vessel designed for, but not limited to, deep water vibracore sampling. With genuine interest and experience in drilling, Mr. Clarkson welcomes new and old drilling challenges.
