AEC is a voluntary organization open to all persons able to use our services and willing to accept the responsibilities of membership. 

AEC is a democratic organization controlled by our members who participate in setting policies and making decisions.  Each member has equal voting rights and has the opportunity to vote in any matter that may come before the Annual Meeting.

Members contribute to and control the capital of AEC.

AEC is an autonomous, self-help organization controlled by our members.

AEC provides education and training for our members, elected representatives, managers, and employees so they can contribute effectively to the development of our cooperative.

AEC helps develop our communities through policies accepted by our members.

Alfalfa Electric Cooperative is a Touchstone Energy Cooperative.  Touchstone Energy is a national alliance of consumer-owned electric and energy utilities providing superior service at affordable rates to all customers, large and small.  More than 746 Touchstone Energy Cooperatives across the nation are local, active members of their communities and are commited to serving their 30 million commercial, industrial and residential customers with integrity, accountability, innovation and community involvement.
