As natural gas, an eco-friendly, safe and clean fuel, is being used more and more intensively in the world and in Turkey, as an economical alternative to increasing air pollution due to urbanization, a roof company was established in 2002 in order to have a strong presence in the natural gas distribution sector and to provide services. We started our business as We are rapidly making our investments in almost every region we are in; We adopt as a principle to deliver natural gas comfort to the consumer with a quality service approach.

We continue our natural gas distribution and retail sales activities in 27 provincial centers and 188 districts and towns within the borders of 31 provinces, with our companies in 21 regions, for which we have acquired licenses from the Energy Market Regulatory Authority and took over. With the investments we made in 2020, we increased our total network size to 31,795 kilometers, the number of our subscribers to over 3.6 million, and provided 9.6 billion cubic meters of gas distribution.

As Aksa Natural Gas, we account for 20.4% of the total natural gas network length reached by Turkey in 2020, and 22.9% of all natural gas distributed in Turkey is delivered through our distribution networks. With this size we have reached, we have the title of the biggest private company in the Turkish natural gas distribution sector; We are ranked 51st in the list of Turkey's largest companies.

We act with the awareness of having an active role and responsibility in the market with our 15.9 million population and approximately 5.5 million potential customers in the regions we distribute. As a result of our planned expansions, in 2021, we aim to serve in 27 provincial centers and 213 districts and towns within the borders of 31 provinces within the scope of 21 natural gas distribution licenses. Together with these districts, our potential subscribers will reach 5.7 million.We are proud of saving up to 54 billion TL for the national economy with our subscribers, to whom we have provided high quality and economical service since our establishment; In addition to the employment we create, we directly and indirectly offer better job opportunities to more than 20 thousand citizens.Approximately 25.2 billion TL of the natural gas conversion market worth 35.2 billion TL as of the end of 2020, which we created with the sectoral additional size realized as a result of our distribution investments, was actually realized. Along with the advantage we bring to energy diversity in regions where natural gas reaches, the acceleration of industrial investments and the increase in employment accordingly are among our contributions.
