Agraferm plans and builds professional biogas, biomethane and waste processing plants with the greatest possible substrate flexibility. Internationally, the Agraferm Group, with more than 100 references in around 20 countries, is one of the few providers of complete agricultural and industrial systems.

Agraferm GmbH, based in Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, emerged in 2017 from Agraferm Technologies AG, which was founded in 2004 by a team of biogas experts who wanted to put an innovative form of fermentation into practice with their know-how - albeit independent of component manufacturers . In the first few years, plants were built in Germany and the efficiency of the technology was demonstrated. In the following years the business became increasingly international.

Agraferm is one of the few full-service providers of agriculturally and industrially designed biogas plants. The extensive process engineering knowledge is applied in particular in plants with a capacity greater than 1 MW. The largest system with 15 MW is currently under construction.
