When the company started, it employed 4 people, and owned 3 rigs. Over the years, the company has grown and expanded and currently owns 17 rigs, and has over 35 employees in its operations.   Though the company is based in Utopia, ON (just west of Barrie), Walker crews work all over Ontario. Occasionally we have crews working in other provinces or even other countries. Walker Drilling primarily operates in geotechnical drilling, environmental drilling, and diamond drilling (rock coring/exploration), though our crews will sometimes be hired for other services.
